Vellimoonga is a romantic comedy movie which directed by Jibu Jacob and written by Joji Thomas. Actor Biju Menon played the title role of Mamachan in that movie along with young actor Aju Varghes. The movie got released on 25 September 2014 and it got highly positive reports from it's first day of release. South Indian actress Nikki Galrani was the heroine of Vellimoonga and it was her first movie as heroine in Malayalam. Actor Asif Ali had done a guest role appearance in it and his presence helped the movie a lot. The story of this film was based on a 41 year old man named as Mamachan who is still unmarried. This film was released in more than 60 centres across Kerala and it got 20 crore of box office collcetion.
Iyobinte Pusthakam is directed by Amal Neerad and written by Gopan Chidambaran. The director him self produced this movie and it got released on 7 November 2014. Fahadh Faasil, Lal, Jayasurya and Isha Sharvani played the lead roles in which Jayasurya played the main villain role. This film received mixed reports from viewers and critics but it got a decent collection from theaters.
Mathai Kuzhappakkaranalla is a family movie which directed by Akku Akbar and produced by Anto Joseph. This film features Jayasurya, Bhama, Mukesh and Lakshmi Gopalaswamy in lead roles in which Jayasurya played the character of an Auto driver named as Mathayi. This movie got released on 28 November 2014 and it failed in Kerala box office.

This stars Fahadh Faasil, Sreenivasan, Isha Talwar, Lal and Mythili in lead roles. This movie was a disaster in box office and removed from theaters after two week's from release.
