Stephy Leon made her debut through the serial Manasaveena which telecast in Mazhavil Manorama in which she played the main female character. Mr Kaladharan was the director of Manasaveena and it's story was written by Murali Nellanadu. Later she acted in one Asianet serial titled as 'Agniputhri' which released three years ago and it was a horror drama. Agniputhri was under the direction of Mr Shibu, a serial hit maker and the story was written by Pradeep Panicker. In this serial, Stephy Leon played the central role and it's story was about a soul who took revenge for what happened in her life.
Now she is acting in the serial 'Ishtam' directed by Sankar Valathungal and produced by Arun Khosh and Bijoy Chandran. It is an official remake of Bollywood serial 'Bade Achhe Lagte Hain' which telecast in Sony Entertainment Television. This serial was also dubbed in to Telugu and Tamil languages as Nuvvu Nachhavu [ Gemini TV ] and Ullam Kollai Poguthada [ Polimer TV ] respectively. The theme of 'Ishtam' is revolves around the life of Akash and Ganga in which Akash is a businessman while Ganga hails from a middle class family.
Stephy Leon's debut Malayalam movie was released in 2001 and it was titled as 'Kadhavaseshan' directed by TV Chandran. The movie stars Dileep and Jyothirmayi in lead roles and Bengali actress Gita Dey made a special appearance in it. In 2014, Stephy had acted in another movie titled as 'Life' and her husband Leon K Thomas was it's director.
Stephy Leon [ Stephy Grace aka Sarangi ] hails from Kozhikode and she is a LLB holder. She got married in March 2014 and her husband is a film director who has recently done one movie titled as 'Life'. Stephy has one sister also named as Lavanya Ani who works as a fashion designer.
